Turning a static 15-minute timer into a real-time, barista-verified pickup.

Bootcamp capstone for Business Analyst and Product Strategy. A full discovery-to-delivery case for the Kopi Kenangan Self-Pickup experience, documenting problem, research, strategy, and measurable outcome.

Problem

A 15-minute promise that broke at peak hour.

Static pickup estimation vs an actual 27.8-minute wait during rush created a 45% drop-off on the pickup-time screen. First-month retention stayed at 25%, with Rp 1.317.000 in lost revenue per abandoned cohort of 15 users.

Research

Uncovered three compounding pain points.

Field research surfaced timer-driven notifications, barista workload conflicts, and a double-queue reality. Customers who ordered on the app still queued at the bar because the system optimised for automation instead of trust.

Strategy

Four pillars, one grab-and-go promise.

Dynamic Prediction Engine for real-time estimates. Barista-Verified Readiness before any Ready push. Redesigned pickup checkout. Kenangan Points loyalty tied to every completed pickup.

Outcome

Designed for measurable trust.

Target: drop-off from 45% to 20%. Retention 25% to 40%. Every notification traceable to a barista tap, the one signal AI cannot fake. Delivered as PRD, BPMN flows, and prototype validated with Kopi Kenangan operations context.

Challenge. Fragmented lending features across credit card activation, installment conversion, and cash disbursement with mounting API latency for a super-app growing past 50K daily users.

What I did. Built core lending services in Java + Spring Boot, then led the reactive WebFlux migration. Facilitated requirement alignment with PMO, QA, and Accenture to unblock the delivery pipeline.

Challenge. Manual reconciliation between insurance partners (Askrida Syariah, Takaful, Jamkrindo) stretched claim validation across days and exposed premium leakage.

What I did. Designed the H2H bridge with webMethods and 3scale API Gateway. Owned partner-facing integration workshops, translating business needs into API contracts and governance policies.

Challenge. Payment failures leaked revenue and eroded trust third-party integrations returned inconsistent errors with no unified retry contract.

What I did. Partnered with product managers to define retry semantics per payment method, then implemented resilient error handling and structured retry with idempotency guarantees.

Challenge. A Toyota dealer in North Kalimantan needed a tailored Odoo ERP interface for dealer workflows across finance, inventory, and operations, instead of the default out-of-the-box screens.

What I did. Built and styled custom frontend pages for the Odoo ERP implementation, then wired them to Odoo backend controllers so users could manage data end to end.
